This is great! So much better than Apple Care or retail store warranties. I feel like I can rest assured that I will have a functional iPad for the next two years no matter what happens!

I am happy to say that I bought a SquareTrade warranty for my iPad 2. I have 2 elementary age kids and they love playing with my iPad, but I worried about letting them, until I bought this warranty. 3 years is only long warranty for an electronics device! My kids are happy because I let them play with it now, for our house it made sense to get this warranty from SquareTrade.

SquareTrade is a good company which covers purchases with warranty and accidental loss protection. I am well satisfied with their service. The customer service representative was courteous, helpful, and professional. I recommend this service to anyone who has need of better protection services than are normally available from the manufacturer.
Cancel anytime and get the unused portion of your warranty price back. Cancellation within the first 45 days will receive a full refund. Cancellations beyond 45 days receive a pro-rated refund.

“If you're going to be one of the iPad early adopters, you might want to make
sure it's covered against manufacturing defects and accidental damage. While
Apple offers a one-year limited warranty and two additional years of coverage
with the AppleCare Protection Plan, it only makes you eligible for repair or
replacement if your iPad suffers from a manufacturing defect.
A SquareTrade warranty, on the other hand, insures your iPad against not just
manufacturing defects but accidental damage as well. Should anything untoward
happen to your iPad, you'll be entitled to free repairs or a replacement from
SquareTrade, depending upon the nature of the damage.
SquareTrade's two-year warranty is currently available at an introductory price
of $96 and the three-year warranty is priced at $136. The warranty has to be
applied for within thirty days of purchasing the iPad.
SquareTrade Warranties are underwritten by Wesco Insurance Company and can be
canceled at any time for a full refund based on the remaining months of the
warranty on a pro rata basis. This option will come in handy should your iPad

"My 19-month Dell laptop suddenly died. Upon calling, I was advised to either ship the unit to Square Trade or attempt to have it repaired locally and be reimbursed. I opted for the latter, and was advised by the technician that the cost would probably exceed the laptop's value. I e-mailed the report to Square Trade, and was instructed to forward the computer to them (at their expense ... they sent a shipping label). It would be acceptable to remove the hard drive, which I did. If they determined that repairs would be prohibitive, I'd be sent the $600 I paid for it. That's exactly what happened ... within a couple of days, I had my money through PayPal. It was that simple, and took just over a week ... amazing!
